Medical Experience
Mark attended the Westminster Hospital Medical School from 1978
to 1983, qualifying as a doctor in 1983. Following training posts in
General & Urological Surgery, General Medicine, Obstetrics &
Gynaecology, Accident & Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics he
entered General Practice in 1988. He retired from General Practice
in 2016. He worked as a Diving & Hyperbaric Physician at the London
Diving Chamber from 2013 to 2019, when it closed.
Mark is a UK
HSE Approved Medical Examiner of Divers and an Oil & Gas UK approved doctor.
Mark is a UKDMC medical referee.
Medical Teaching Experience
Mark has extensive experience in teaching both postgraduate doctors and undergraduate medical students. He was a GP Vocational Trainer in North West Thames and a Teaching Fellow at Imperial College, Department of General Practice.
Recreational Diving Qualifications
Mark learnt to recreational scuba dive in 2001, quickly becoming
addicted to the underwater life.
